REALMS
GAMES AND ARCHITECTURE SYMPOSIUM,
london games festival 2017
I curated and staged REALMS, a symposium on videogames and architecture, as part of the London Games Festival Fringe 2017. Five speakers working across the disciplines presented their work and contributed to a panel discussion examining the future interplay between architecture and the games industries, and their shared technologies and cultures. The speakers at REALMS were author Darran Anderson, Minecraft builder James Delaney (of Blockworks), architects Catrina Stewart (Office S&M and Lumino City), Philippa Warr (journalist with Rock Paper Shotgun) and games developer Maciek Strychalski (developer of Tokyo 42).
